Heinrich Trieste
Heinrich Wilhelm Triest (born January 20, 1811 in Stettin ; † December 23, 1885 there ) was a German church musician and composer.
Life
Heinrich Triest was the youngest, posthumously born son of the Stettin pastor and music writer Johann Carl Friedrich Triest . He became a student of Carl Loewe and worked as an organist at the St. Gertrudkirche in Stettin and city music director. Karl Adolf Lorenz was his most important student.
Triest composed mainly vocal works, especially choral pieces.
His estate is kept in the Książnica Pomorska .
