Heinrich Velte

Johann Heinrich Velte (born November 6, 1782 in Wehrheim ; † April 25, 1861 there ) was a farmer and member of the Nassau state parliament.

Heinrich Velte was the son of the fruit manager Johann Philipp Velte (born January 30, 1756 in Wehrheim; † September 19, 1819 ibid) and his wife Maria Elisabethe nee George (born February 23, 1755 in Wehrheim; † September 14, 1826 ibid). Heinrich Velte, who was a Protestant denomination, married Anna Margarethe, born in Wehrheim on February 16, 1806, Eichhorn (born November 11, 1784 in Obernhain ; † August 14, 1824 in Wehrheim), the daughter of the Obernhain schoolboy Simon.

Heinrich Velte worked as a farmer in Wehrheim. In 1833 he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the Land estates of the Duchy of Nassau from the group of landowners in the Weilburg constituency in a by-election for Philipp May , whose mandate had been revoked. He stayed in the state parliament until 1848.
