Heinrich Wesche

Heinrich Wesche (born February 8, 1904 in Hillerse , † December 4, 1978 ) was a German philologist and university professor .

Live and act

In 1954, Wesche was appointed to the chair for Low German language and literature created at the German Department of the University of Göttingen . He stayed there until his retirement in 1972. In 1954, he also took over the management of the Lower Saxony Dictionary in Göttingen .
