Heinrich von Feilitsch

Heinrich Klemens von Feilitsch (born April 9, 1856 in Bad Schandau , † December 11, 1932 in Leipzig ) was a German judge .

Origin and life

Heinrich Clemens von Feilitsch came from an illegitimate line of the old, primeval noble family of Barons von Feilitsch, who belonged to the imperial knighthood of the canton of Vogtland. He was the son of pastor Heinrich (von) Feilitsch (1818–1899), who was an illegitimate son of Ferdinand von Feilitsch (1783–1862) and Anna Maria Weyß. Heinrich Clemens von Feilitsch was born in Bad Schandau on April 9, 1856 and died on December 11, 1932 in Leipzig. He was admitted to the Kgl. Saxon nobility and under the No. 152 in the Kgl. Saxon nobility book registered.

Professional career

He was promoted to Dr. jur. PhD. Feilitsch entered the Saxon civil service in 1880. In 1888 he became a magistrate. In 1895 he was promoted to district judge. In 1899 he was appointed district court director. In 1904 he became a higher regional judge. He was a member of the second criminal law commission appointed by the Reich Justice Office from 1911 to 1913. In 1912 he was awarded the title of Privy Councilor of Justice. On the New Year of 1915 he came to the Reichsgericht . He retired in June 1924.
