Life

Origin and family

Heinrich von Reuschenberg was the eldest son of Wilhelm von Reuschenberg and Overbach and his wife Margarethe von Gülpen and thus belonged to a branch line of the noble von Reuschenberg family . His brother Johann was imperial colonel and hereditary marshal of the Duke of Limburg. His sister Philippine was mistress of Helmond, Anna Abbess in Roermond.

Act

On October 17, 1589, Heinrich had his representative Dr. Tell Christian Lauwenberg from Cologne that he the Dompräbende the late Domkellners Melchior von Bueren by the Roman Curia have acquired. At first he was turned away and sent a papal mandate on January 15, 1590 . This time, too, the cathedral chapter refused recognition for formal reasons. The difficulties arose from the fact that Reuschenberg had charged the prebende with 80 gold ducats to Franciscus Oranus. With the promise to provide evidence within four months that the prebende was unencumbered, he was able to take possession of it on June 17, 1591 after swearing up to the Reuschenberg, Nesselrode, Gülpen and Arckteile families. Heinrich was provost and canon in Liège from 1591 . On November 15, 1593, he submitted a confirmation from the Liège cathedral chapter that he had deregistered there. From now on he resided in Munster. On June 12, 1597 he made his office available. Heinrich was owned by the Obedienzen Buldern and Roxel .
