Heinz-Günter Schenk
Heinz-Günter Schenk (born January 16, 1942 in Salzwedel ) is a former German triple jumper and sprinter .
In the triple jump he was eliminated from qualification at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City. In 1971 he was sixth at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki , and in 1972 he did not get past the preliminary round at the Olympic Games in Munich again.
In 1968 and 1973 he was GDR triple jump champion and in 1973 GDR indoor triple jump champion . With SC Dynamo Berlin , he was East German champion in the 4 x 100 meter relay in 1972 .
He set his personal best in the triple jump of 16.94 m on June 15, 1972 in Potsdam .
