Heinz-Joachim Rothenburg
Heinz-Joachim Rothenburg (born April 9, 1944 in Luckenwalde , Brandenburg ) is a German athlete and Olympic participant who - starting for the GDR - was a successful shot putter in the late 1960s and 1970s . His greatest successes are two silver medals at European Athletics Championships (1969 and 1971) and three medal ranks at European Indoor Championships (1969, 1970, 1974).
Heinz-Joachim Rothenburg belonged to the SC Dynamo Berlin . In his playing days he was 1.85 m tall and weighed 118 kg.
