Heinz Aulfes

Heinz Aulfes (born February 20, 1927 in Bramsche ) is a German high school teacher and politician ( SPD ). He was a member of the Bremen citizenship for over 12 years.

biography

education and profession

Aulfes was an anti-aircraft helper and graduated from high school . He joined the Reich Labor Service and became a soldier in the Wenck Army at the beginning of 1945 . He came into British captivity, from which he was released in July 1945 as part of the Barleycorn campaign in Bramsche. Later he lived u. a. in Bremen-Nord and after his professional time back in Bramsche.

Aulfes studied history, English, exploration, and politics. He was a teacher at the Burggymnasium Altena and the grammar school in Delmenhorst as well as the director of studies for history and politics at the Wilhelm-Raabe-Schule (Bremerhaven) . He was an active member of the Education and Science Union (GEW). From 1998 to 2013 he worked with Karin Bormann in the Bramscher literary duo . His book about "the best youth of the most capable people" was presented in Altena by Franz Müntefering .

politics

As a member of the SPD Bremen , Aulfes was a political companion of Henning Scherf and Christian Weber (politician, 1946) . From 1979 to 1991 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship . He was active in various deputations (Bremen) and committees of the citizenship, in particular as speaker of the deputation for education.
