Heinz Diettrich

Heinz Diettrich (born March 6, 1940 in Adorf ) is a German surgeon and medical professional .

Life

After attending high school in Stollberg / Erzgebirge and passing the final examination studied Heinz Diettrich 1958-1961 medicine at the University of Leipzig and 1961 to 1964 at the Academy of Medicine Carl Gustav Carus in Dresden , where he passed the state examination and 1967. Dr. med. received his doctorate. After his compulsory assistant doctor activity at the Pathological Institute in Karl-Marx-Stadt , he began his further training in surgery in Dresden, which he completed in 1969 with recognition as a specialist.

From 1976 to 1979 Diettrich was head of the surgical department of the Catholic St. Joseph Foundation in Dresden. In 1983 he completed his habilitation in the field of abdominal surgery at the Medical Academy in Dresden, in 1992 he was appointed adjunct professor at the Medical Faculty of the Technical University of Dresden , and in 1994 he was appointed chief physician of the surgical clinic of the Dresden-Neustadt hospital .

From 1991 to 1999 Heinz Diettrich was the first President of the Saxon State Medical Association .
