Heinz Felber (DJ)

Heinz Felber (born  September 3, 1956 in Graz ) is an Austrian DJ and producer. He is considered one of the German pioneers of house music. As a club and radio DJ, he made House known throughout Germany. He was part of the founding team of Clubnight on hr3 .

In 1989, as the producer of Deskees Let There Be House, he achieved the first commercially successful house title in Germany. The single made it to number 1 on the US dance charts; 500,000 copies have been sold worldwide. Felber remixed and produced SNAP! , Rozalla , Three Degrees , BG, The Prince of Rap and Mariah Carey produced . He also worked with WestBam , Torsten Fenslau and Wackside in the studio on his own tracks.

Together with DJs like Sven Väth , Torsten Fenslau and Mark Spoon , he played at the Frankfurt Airport Club Dorian Gray and became a popular club DJ.

Once a month you could hear him on his radio show, the " hr3 Party Grooves ". “ Party Grooves ” was the follow-up program to hr3 Clubnight , the most successful club show on German radio. There he promoted unknown DJs like Tom Novy and Boris Dlugosch . In 2007 “Party Grooves” was discontinued by hr3 for cost reasons.

In 2019, Heinz Felber founded a DJ / artist agency.
