Heinz Gerd Ingenkamp

Heinz Gerd Ingenkamp (born November 22, 1938 in Krefeld ) is a German classical philologist .

Ingenkamp received his doctorate in 1966 with the dissertation Investigations on the pseudoplatonic definitions at the University of Bonn and after his habilitation (1970, with the text Plutarch's writings on the healing of the soul ) was appointed adjunct professor there in 1971. In 1980 he was promoted to full professor. He retired on February 29, 2004.
