Heinz Goldberg (translator)
Heinz Goldberg (born May 23, 1910 in Szittkehmen / East Prussia , † October 1971 in Schwerin ) was a German translator .
Life
From the 1930s onwards, Heinz Goldberg worked as a lecturer for Finnish at the Berlin " Foreign University ". After 1945 he lived as a freelance translator in Schwerin . Goldberg, who was a member of the GDR Writers' Union from 1952 , translated narrative prose from Finnish into German .
