Heinz Hörhager

Heinz Hörhager (born October 4, 1966 in Bad Ischl , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian radio presenter.

Life

Heinz Hörhager grew up in the Gosau Valley and was enthusiastic about Austrian sports greats from an early age. As a primary school pupil , he won a reading competition and presented the Rosegger story Bergkristall at Brandwirt in Gosau , where the ORF State Studio Upper Austria made a guest appearance in the mid-1970s with Edith Hagg and Volker Raus . In 1991 Hörhager became one of the three state winners of the young sports reporters of the ORF competition in Salzburg and was among the finalists of the nationwide competition. He was hired as a freelancer at the ORF regional studio in Linz and then moved to Salzburg. Later he moderated at Radio Salzkammergut in Bad Ischl. In 2006 he moved to Antenne Salzburg and worked there as a sports presenter. From 2012 to 2016 Hörhager was a sports presenter for the television channels ATV and Puls 4 .

Since 2017 he has been a freelancer at ORF Upper Austria in the folk culture department and regularly moderates the folk music program G'sungen and plays on Radio Upper Austria .

Heinz Hörhager lives in Obertraun in the Salzkammergut .
