Mursabek Imanalievich Imanaliev
Mursabek Imanalijewitsch Imanalijew ( Russian Мурзабек Иманалиевич Иманалиев ; born September 13, 1931 in Kajyngdy (Kyrgyzstan) ; † February 24, 2017 in Bishkek ) was a Kyrgyz - Soviet mathematician and university professor .
Life
Imanaliev attended the village school and in 1946 was the accountant of the Kajyngdy collective farm . After graduating from secondary school No. 5 in Frunze in 1949, he studied at the physics and mathematics faculty of the Kyrgyz State University (KGU) in Frunze, graduating with honors in 1953. This was followed by a three-year traineeship at KGU and Lomonossow University in Moscow . In 1956 he defended his candidate dissertation on solutions to special integro differential equations . As a candidate in physical-mathematical sciences, he now taught at the KGU. In 1960 he became a doctoral candidate at the Polytechnic Institute in Frunze. In 1965 he received his doctorate in physical-mathematical sciences and was appointed professor in 1966.
In March 1966 Imanaliev became director of the Institute of Physics and Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences (AN) of the KiSSR . His field of work was the theory of integro differential equations and their use in applied sciences. He became a corresponding member of the AN-KiSSR (1969) as well as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Mathematical Union and speaker of the Mathematical Reviews (1973). 1976–1979 he was rector of the KGU. In 1979 he became a real member of the AN-KiSSR and its president as successor to Mussa Mirzapajasowitsch Adyshev . In 1981 he became a Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR .
In 1984 Imanaliev became director of the Institute for Theoretical and Applied Mathematics of the AN-KiSSR. Imanaliev's successor as President of the AN-KiSSR was Nikolai Pavlovich Lavjorow in 1989 . 1977–1989 Imanaliev was a member of the KiSSR in the Nationalities Soviet of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR .
