Heinz Krämer

Heinz Krämer (born May 10, 1924 in Feuerbach ; † September 25, 2015 ) was a German writer , teacher and ministerial advisor.

Life

Heinz Krämer grew up in Stuttgart-Feuerbach, where he graduated from the Leibniz Gymnasium in 1942 . During his military service he was used as a lieutenant in Russia and the Ardennes. He studied English, history, French and philosophy in Tübingen , London , Paris and Los Angeles . He received his doctorate magna cum laude in 1952 in Tübingen as Dr. phil.

In addition to teaching for several years at the Leibniz Gymnasium in Stuttgart and later at the Daimler Gymnasium in Bad Cannstatt , he received a lectureship at the Heidelberg branch of the University of Maryland University College for German and European History.

In 1969 he was appointed to the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg, where he was Deputy Chief of Protocol of the State Government and Senior Ministerial Counselor to the Prime Ministers Hans Filbinger and Lothar Späth . As a sideline, he published several books on regional history. He was a bearer of the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class and other awards.
