Georg Friedrich Kempter

Georg Friedrich Kempter (born July 12, 1936 in Winterbach , Remstal ) is a German art historian and monument conservator .

Life

After training as a carpenter and businessman, he studied philosophy , art history and classical archeology in Munich , Paris and Rome . In 1969 he received his doctorate in Munich. He was a monument conservator for 31 years .

He is chairman of the Society for Nature and Art in Engelberg Castle Gardens and a member of the Staufer Friends Committee . Since 2013 he has been the representative of Amitiés Internationales André Malraux .
