Heinz Marciniak

Heinz Marciniak (born June 23, 1934 ) is a former German soccer player and sports official .

Marciniak played football as a goalkeeper, initially at Chemie Bitterfeld and in 1954 at SC DHfK Leipzig , which played a half-series in the GDR league . After the DHfK's football department was dissolved, he was assigned to SC Dynamo Berlin , for which he played two major league games. He then switched to Chemie Wolfen . From 1984 he was also the club's chairman.

From 1990 to 2008 Marciniak was chairman of the Saxony-Anhalt Football Association (FSA). From 1998 he was chairman of the State Sports Association (LSB) Saxony-Anhalt. In 2008 he resigned from the chairmanship of the LSB because of a financial affair involving misappropriated sports funding. Marciniak was honorary president of the FSA at least in the 2012/13 season.
