Heinz Reitbauer (politician)

Heinrich Gustav Philipp Reitbauer (born May 31, 1899 in Metz ; † August 21, 1960 in Dortmund ) was a German bank director and politician ( FDP ).

Life

Reitbauer attended secondary school and was a soldier in the First World War from 1917 to 1918 . In 1920 he began an apprenticeship and then worked in banks. In 1936 he became a bank director in Berlin and in 1937 a member of the board. From 1945 to 1947 he was interned in the US camps in Darmstadt, Ludwigsburg and Dachau. After his release in 1947, he became the managing director of the Gemstones section and of the Rhineland-Palatinate Gemstones and Jewelry Association in Idar-Oberstein. In 1951 he moved to the main Dortmund branch of the Rheinisch-Westfälische Bank as bank director .

politics

In 1935 he became a member of the DAF and was a member of the NS victim community from 1935 to 1939 and from 1936 a member of the NSV. In 1940 he became a member of the NSDAP .

In 1950 he joined the FDP and was a member of the extended FDP board of the Birkenfeld district. In 1951 he was elected to the second Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate , to which he was a member for four months until September 30, 1951. In the state parliament he was a member of the budget and finance committee.
