Hejdeby hällar

Hejdeby hällar is a Natura 2000 area in the parish ( Swedish socken ) Hejdeby on the Swedish island of Gotland .

Hejdeby hällar is part of a rocky area ( Swedish: hällmarksområde ), from which it runs in a north-south direction through Gotland. There has long been an interest in limestone mining in this area and limestone mining still takes place just outside the Natura 2000 area.

In the northeastern portion of this rocky area come Milder Mauerpfeffer , Svartoxbär ( cotoneaster niger Fr. , Swedish svartoxbär ) Bergsgrabba , Dove Skabiose , Langblättrige Gold thistle , Sandmarksrosor , Dove Skabiose , pancratium illyricum ( pancratium illyricum , Swedish Israel strandlilja ) and melica ciliata . Further south you will find Kalknarv ( Latin arenaria gothica ), ordinary needle florets , wall-rue , Silene uniflora , Alvaralv , apple Rose , and Wall Pippau . Even the rare rock carnation can be seen here. The lichen flora is rich and you will find, among other things lichen Masklav . Among the mosses, the rarely seen species Trubbklockmossa is sure to stand out. Further to the south-west is a sandy area with plants such as rue , rock sedum , mild stonecrop , St. John's wort , speedwell , golden thistle and panicle . At the edge of the forest there are meadow pasqueflowers , rock stonecrop , Grå Småfingerört ( potentilla subarenaria Borbás ex Zimmeter ), Kassuben vetch , large-flowered brown ella , pigeon scabies, sand ostrich grass . and real meadow oats .
