Kallgatburg

Kallgatburg is a nature reserve and Natura 2000 area in the parish ( Swedish socken ) Hejnums on the Swedish island of Gotland .

A population of hybrids consisting of pasque flower and meadow pasque flower is growing in the parking lot . Through a forest of spruce , yew , hazel bushes and ivy , you approach a grazed meadow with light tree vegetation and then an open meadow ( Swedish änge ). Among the meadow plants one finds Alchemilla vulgaris , Späddaggkåpa ( Latin alchemilla filicaulis Buser ) Trubbdagkåpa , Kalkmaskros , marsh dandelion ( Latin taraxacum sect. PALUSTRIA (H. Lindb.) Dahlst ) Schopfige finial , fire orchid , Male orchid and helmet Orchid . Large Wiesenknopf also occurs in the more humid areas . To the north, towards the small spruce forest, runs a temporarily dried out Bachtobel, which is filled with wild garlic . The surrounding spruce forest is associated with ivy, woodruff and hazel bushes . A spring moor follows to the east, followed by an open moor called Rövätan . All around the moor there are colored salmonweed ( Latin: potamogeton coloratus Hornem. ), Dull-flowered bulrush , rust-red head and a hybrid of rust-red and black head . One even finds primroses , Salzburg Augentrost ( Latin euphrasia Salisburgensis ), alpine butterwort , Common Butterwort , Ordinary Sims lily , Alpine Rush , dactylorhiza traunsteineri , mosquito Händelwurz , Fragrant Händelwurz , Schuppenfrüchtige yellow sedge and broadleaf cotton grass .

Further to the east there is an old beach wall, which was previously used as a path between Bäl and Othem. The wall is overgrown with an old yew tree. Gotland's largest collection of yellow lady's slipper is one kilometer to the east .
