Helen Homans

Helen Homans , later Helen McLean, (* 1878 or 1879 in New York City , † March 29, 1949 ) was an American tennis player .

She won the US women's singles tennis championships in 1906 . She defeated her compatriot Maud Barger-Wallach 6: 4 and 6: 3 in the final . In 1905 she was also successful in women's doubles with Carrie Neely .
