Helene ceiling-Cornill

Helenedecke-Cornill (* 1949 ) is a German professor for educational science at the University of Hamburg (retired since 2014).

Scientific career and life

Blanket-Cornill was involved in the group dissertation on Gender Studies in English lessons at upper secondary level. Theoretical considerations and practical suggestions. together with Claudia M. Gdaniec 1989 at the Technical University of Berlin PhD .

She is married, has two grown sons and lives in Berlin .

Research priorities

Her research focus is the didactics of the English language and literature . This includes interactive literature lessons in English, the creation of “third places” in discussions about literary texts , gender studies , film in language education and co-operative learning .

Memberships

Blanket-Cornill is a member of the Advisory Board ("Scientific Advisory Board") of Hard Times , the journal of the German-British Society .
