Helga Glöckner-Neubert

Helga Glöckner-Neubert (born September 5, 1938 in Oberfrohna ; † August 27, 2017 in Alt Madlitz ) was a German writer.

life and work

Glöckner-Neubert completed her training at the librarian school of the Karl Marx University in Leipzig . She then completed a degree in German and Slavic studies . Then she was a lecturer in Russian at Leipzig University. She got involved in a cultural center and was also involved in various cultural tasks in the Frankfurt (Oder) district . The center of her life was Frankfurt (Oder) , which is reflected in various city-related publications. With her husband, the composer Gottfried Glöckner , she created an extensive work of songs. She was a member of the GDR Writers' Association .
