Helga Rock
Helga Rock (born February 25, 1951 in Siegen ) is a German politician . From 1987 to 1990 she was a member of the German Bundestag .
Life
After graduating from primary school in Siegen, she trained as an office assistant , forwarding agent and industrial specialist . She is married and has a son.
politics
Rock has been a member of the Greens since 1979 and has worked for the party in various functions since 1984. On January 5, 1980, she was one of the founders of the Greens district association Siegen-Wittgenstein . In 1987 she was elected to the Bundestag via the NRW state list of the Greens.
Since 1990 it has only been active in local politics. Since 1989 she has been continuously represented for the Greens in the district assembly of the Siegen-Wittgenstein district and since 2009 a member of the city council of Netphen .
