Helga Thomas (actress)
Helga Thomas , real name Helga Amalia Sandell (born July 8, 1891 in Skog ( Ångermanland ), † July 6, 1988 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish actress .
Life
Helga Thomas began her artistic career in Stockholm at the Intima Theater there. From 1916 to 1921 she was engaged at the Nya Theater in Gothenburg, and at times a member of a traveling troupe. Her cinematic career was limited to the years of silent film, between 1923 and 1930 she appeared on the screen in various German productions.
The advent of the talkie moved Thomas to end her career and retire into private life. She was married twice and died two days before she turned 97 in the Swedish capital, Stockholm.
