Helga y Flora (German Helga and Flora ) is a Chilean television series that was created and written by Omar Saavedra Santis and produced by Suricato for the Chilean broadcaster Canal 13 . It premiered on April 25, 2020. Set on the territory of Chilean Patagonia in the 1930s, the series runs through various narrative arcs in the social context of the time when women have recently enjoyed labor and political rights. It includes Catalina Saavedra , Amalia Kassai and Alejandro Sieveking , the side performance by Tiago Correa , Alessandra Guerzoni, Ernesto Meléndez, Daniela Lhorente, Hernán Contreras and Geraldine Neary.

Helga Gunkel and Flora Gutiérrez, the first women in the Chilean tax police, are sent on their first mission: to travel to Kerren, a ranch on Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego , to investigate the theft of Sigfried, a fine-blooded horse of the mighty Don Raymond Gamper, rancher of German origin, owner of everything and everyone.

However, this event opens the floodgate to a whole world of secrets and crossed stories in an inhospitable land. This seemingly simple case hides a criminal who has returned to the city in revenge and initiates a range of other crimes that people prefer to ignore. For the investigators, however, he turns into a mysterious riddle of intrigue that must be solved at the risk of losing their own life.
