society

Hellas-Nordwest Berlin was founded in 1904 under the name SC Hellas 04 Berlin . The club initially took part in the championship of the Association of Berlin Athletics Clubs , but in 1905 switched to the championship round of the Association of Berlin Ball Game Clubs . In 1911, SC Hellas was joined by the SC Berlin teams and, for a short time, Hansa 07 Berlin . On a sporting level, Hellas did not play a prominent role in Berlin football until the end of the Second World War . The club operated with SpVgg Nordwest 1912 Berlin as a war gaming community Hellas / Nordwest until 1945 .

In 1945 the KSG was dissolved and re-established as SG Nordwest . The two syndicates Nordwest and Hellas formed a joint team after the end of the war and from 1947 acted as SV Hellas-Nordwest Berlin . Hellas-Nordwest's most successful period was the sixties and seventies, when the club played in the Berlin amateur league for almost two decades . The greatest success in the club's history was the 1972 successful entry into the final of the Paul Rusch Cup . Wacker 04 Berlin defeated Hellas-Nordwest with a clear 5-0. After the league changeover, the club still played one season in the Berlin football league and, together with the Berliner SV 92 , was relegated to the regional league, from which the club was also passed. Afterwards Hellas-Nordwest disappeared in the lowlands of West Berlin local football. Hellas-Nordwest was unable to return to higher leagues. After being promoted to the state league in 2016, the club managed to march through to the Berlin League (6th division). The club's president had been aiming for a merger with Berlin Türkspor 1965 since the beginning of 2017 . In autumn 2017, the club officially changed its name to Berlin Türkspor eV The union was finally completed on December 11, 2017, and since then the team has been playing in the Berlin League under the name Berlin Türkspor 1965.
