Hellogoodbye is a power pop / synth pop band from Huntington Beach , California . You are with the Drive-Thru Records label and in 2006 you released your first album Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! released. They are known for their commitment to do it yourself , for their flashy clothing and their close relationship with their fans.

Band history

The band Hellogoodbye was formed in 2001 at Huntington Beach High School by Forrest Kline. With the help of Jesse Kurvink, Forrest Kline started recording power pop songs on his computer, but initially only for the entertainment of her friends. However, the fan base grew beyond the friends and more and more songs by them were available on MP3.com . The The Parachute EP was supposed to be officially released, with four songs, but there were only burned a few copies of Forrest Kline. The band name comes from the Beatles song Hello, Goodbye and the television series California High School .

In 2002 Hellogoodbye started playing their first concerts. For live performances, Forrest Kline and Jesse Kurvink were accompanied on drums by either Parker Case or Aaron Flora. Aaron Flora and bassist Marcus Cole soon became members of the band, completing the band.

Although Hellogoodbye had been with Drive-Thru Records since January 2004, they still recorded their songs themselves, designed their posters, CD covers, etc. themselves. Shortly after Hellogoodbye signed with Drive-Thru Records, they released their first EP, Hellogoodbye , with a music video for the song "Call n 'Return". In March 2004 the drummer Flora left the band and was replaced by Chris Profeta. The EP was released on August 17, 2004, after which they toured America. On October 22, 2004 during the tour the band had an accident in Pennsylvania , nobody was injured. On November 22nd, 2005 Hellogoodbye released a DVD called OMG HGB DVD ROTFL . In 2006 Hellogoodbye was on the Vans Warped Tour . On August 8, 2006, their first CD was Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! released. On November 7th, 2006 Hellogoodbye released a remix EP, which Remixes! means, but is only available on the Internet from the iTunes Store .
