Hello, Goodbye ( English Hello, goodbye ) is a song by the Beatles and was released on November 24, 1967 as a single with the B-side I Am the Walrus . It later also appeared on the LP version of Magical Mystery Tour and the accompanying film .

history

The song is under the copyright of Lennon / McCartney , which was common in Beatles times . The recordings for Hello, Goodbye took place at Abbey Road Studios and lasted from October 2 to November 2, 1967, when Paul McCartney completed his last bass track. The song originally emerged from an exercise and initially had the working title Hello Hello . John Lennon and Paul McCartney found the text through an associative game.

Lennon disliked the fact that his composition I Am the Walrus was only used as the b-side of the single. He thought this was better because he only liked the end of Hello, Goodbye .
