The Beatles Beat ( English Der Beat der Beatles ) is the third album released in Germany by the British band The Beatles . It was released on April 15, 1964. It is the Beatles' first compilation album in Germany. The album was not released in the UK and USA.

Emergence

Five months after the Beatles' German debut album With the Beatles was released, the compilation album The Beatles Beat was released , which contains five songs from this album, including the single Please Mr. Postman , as well as the single A-sides From Me to You , She Loves You and Can't Buy Me Love including their B-sides . There is also the single A-side I Want to Hold Your Hand on the album . No song was used from the album Die Zentrale Tanzschaffe of the world famous four from Liverpool .

The album was also released in Japan in 1978 .

The Beatles Beat was distributed in Germany in a mono version until 1969 . From 1969 the album was released in a stereo version. The last time was The Beatles launched in the 1,981th

In Germany, the album The Beatles Beat was published by various book clubs from 1964 to 1972, with a different cover design and sometimes with a different title . Some of the issues listed below became collector's items in the following years.
