The Helmet Peak (English for Helmspitze ) is a 1040 m high mountain in the eastern part of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises just south of the mouth of the Huron Glacier in Moon Bay .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations carried out the descriptive naming between 1926 and 1932.
