Helmut Käutner Prize
The Helmut Käutner Prize has been awarded by the city of Düsseldorf every two years since 1982 and every three years since 1995 on the birthday of Helmut Käutner . It is endowed with € 10,000 and is awarded to personalities who "have emphatically supported and influenced the development of German film culture through their work , promoted their understanding and contributed to its recognition".
The award is named after the film director and actor Helmut Käutner .
