The Helmut Voss Arena in Papenloh is a football stadium in the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Hamm . It has space for 5,000 spectators. The facility has a sports field with natural grass . Westfalia Rhynern plays its home games in the stadium.

In Hamm, the construction of a new stadium with 10,000 seats is planned, which will also be the new home of SV Westfalia Rhynern. The city commissioned a feasibility study for this, which was published in August 2016. The four locations at the Jahnstadion , the EVORA Arena , the Papenloh sports facility and the training area on Tünner Berg were tested. The Helmut-Voss-Arena in Papenloh is not suitable from an economic point of view, and the facility on Tünner Berg is considered the optimal solution. A new building would cost around 21 million euros . First of all, the site on Tünner Berg is to be expanded for 2.7 million euros with a grandstand for 1,500 spectators as well as an additional natural grass pitch and a clubhouse. The city of Hamm is to cover the costs with 2 million euros and SV Westfalia Rhynern the rest of the sum. First, the city council has to approve the project in December of that year, then construction work could start at the end of 2017. The schedule foresees completion of the stadium at the beginning of the 2019/20 season. An expansion to 11,000 places should be possible later.

The Helmut Voss Arena in Papenloh is to be dismantled and then reforested as a local recreation area .
