Helmut Beer

Helmut Beer (born September 10, 1941 in Windischeschenbach ) is a German trade unionist and politician.

After training there, Beer worked as a porcelain painter at the Winterling company in Windischeschenbach. In 1967 he became district secretary of the IG Chemie-Papier-Keramik in Bavaria, where he headed the youth and vocational training departments as well as employees. From 1970 to 1991 he was negotiator for the tariff areas paper production and plastics processing. In 1992 he was elected chairman and regional head of the IG Chemie-Papier-Keramik in Bavaria, he was also a member of the regional board of the DGB Bavaria . He was also deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Haindl-Papier GmbH in Augsburg and Hutschenreuther AG in Selb . From November 21, 1994 until its dissolution at the end of 1999, he was a member of the Bavarian Senate .
