Helmut Bibl
Helmut Bibl (born May 9, 1955 in Vienna ) is an Austrian guitarist and music producer .
In 1976 Bibl won the great Austrian young band competition Popodrom with “Schoitl AG”. Subsequently Bibl was a member of the Hallucination Company for five years , ten years lead guitarist with Andy Baum and Falco , and caused a sensation especially as the guitarist of the cult group Drahdiwaberl around Stefan Weber.
Since 2000 he has also worked as a producer ( cake instead of words , sit-down pissers ) and works on various music projects. He played as a studio musician on many productions: Supermax , Boris Bukowski , Planet P , Jitka Woodhams, Balis, Superfeucht . The last project is a collaboration with the English singer Steve Gander.
