Helmut Blank (born December 2, 1938 ) is a former soccer player from the GDR .
The defender played from 1960 to 1964 for the reserve team of BSG Empor Rostock . In the 1961/62 season Blank came to his only two league appearances in the first team of the Hanseatic League. After his time at Empor he played in the 1964/65 season for ASG Vorwärts Rostock in the GDR league .
