Helmut Brömmelhaus
Helmut Brömmelhaus (born May 23, 1927 in Emsdetten ; † April 2, 2010 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).
Life and work
After attending primary school , he was a weaver until 1956 . From 1957 he was a secretary at the Textile Clothing Union , of which he had been a member since 1945.
Brömelhaus had been a member of the CDU since 1947. He was active in numerous party committees, so u. a. District chairman of the CDU district association Steinfurt.
MP
From July 24, 1966 to May 29, 1985 Brömmelhaus was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in the constituencies 083 Steinfurt I and 096 Steinfurt II.
The Council of the city of Rheine he was from 1958 to 1965, the council of the district of Steinfurt in 1965-1969.
