Helmut Eckl (born November 20, 1947 in Wolfersdorf ) is a Bavarian dialect poet and satirist .

Career

Eckl grew up in the Upper Palatinate (Eslarn, Waidhaus, Weiden , Neumarkt ). After completing his studies, which he graduated with a degree in administrative management (FH), he started working at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . His first books were published by Friedl Brehm- Verlag. For many years he was chairman of the “dialect friends of Bavaria” and is a co-founder of the Poet's regular table (Friedl Brehm circle) and regularly invites authors and musicians to a literary-satirical-musical morning pint at the Fraunhofer Theater in Munich. He has been a tower scribe in Munich since 2002 . His books have a predominantly satirical character.
