Helmut Pernsteiner

Helmut Pernsteiner (born July 11, 1962 in Linz , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian economist and university professor. He is professor of business administration (corporate finance ) at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz . He is the head of the institute for corporate finance and the head of the corporate finance department .

Life

Helmut Pernsteiner began studying business administration at the JKU in 1981. After his assistantship at the Institute for Auditing, Fiduciary and Accounting , he received his doctorate in 1989. After a research stay at the University of Friborg in Switzerland , he qualified as a professor in 1995 in business administration at the JKU. Three years later he was appointed full university professor at the Institute for Corporate Finance. Pernsteiner directs a. a. University courses at the JKU and has been giving lectures at the Pressburg University of Economics, Slovakia since 1998 . He is a member of the JKU Senate. In addition, he is a generally sworn and court-certified expert.
