Helmut Thiel

Helmut Thiel (born May 23, 1933 in Königsberg (Prussia) ) is a German politician ( SED , PDS ).

Life

Helmut Thiel passed his secondary school leaving certificate and was admitted to law studies after a special maturity examination . He completed his studies in 1957 with a diploma. Then he was a legal advisor to the City Council of Schwerin . In 1963 he became an employee of Deutsche Post , where he was head of a post and telecommunications office. He is a member of the Deutsche Postgewerkschaft and the Postsportverein eV from 1950 Ludwigslust.

Helmut Thiel is non-denominational, married and has two children.

Helmut Thiel joined the SED in 1953 and became a member of the PDS when it was renamed in 1990. In the state election in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 1990 , he was elected to the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania via the state list of the LL / PDS . On May 31, 1991, he left the state parliament. Angelika Gramkow was the successor .
