Helmut Voska

Helmut Voska (born May 19, 1942 in Vienna ; † January 17, 2007 there ) was an Austrian journalist and co-founder of the news magazine profil .

Voska began his journalistic career in 1964 as an employee of the ÖVP press service. From 1966 he was press officer of the ÖVP parliamentary group leader Hermann Withalm and from 1968 press officer of Finance Minister Stephan Koren . In 1974 Voska became deputy editor-in-chief of profil . 1979 to 1992 finally its editor-in-chief. From 1992 to 2001 he headed the press department of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce .

Voska died after a serious illness at the age of 64 in Vienna.
