Helmuth Bott

Helmuth Bott (born August 23, 1925 in Kirchheim / Teck ; † May 14, 1994 in Buttenhausen ) was a German manager and board member for research and development at Porsche from 1979 to 1988.

Life

During his time as developer and chief developer, numerous highlights of the 911 series were created at Porsche (911 basic principle, 911 Turbo, 964, 959); he was also significantly involved in the establishment of the development center in Weissach .

Bott was a lecturer at the Technical College in Esslingen for the industrial seminar.
