Helmuth Schwenn

Helmuth Schwenn (born January 27, 1913 - † July 16, 1983 ; sometimes Helmut Schwenn ) was a German water polo player .

Helmuth Schwenn played for SV Wasserfreunde 1898 Hannover . From 1936 to 1938 Schwenn was German champion three times in a row. With Bernhard Baier , Fritz Gunst , Fritz Stolze and Schwenn, four players from the Water Friends were part of the German squad at the 1936 Olympic Games . The German team won all games except for the game against Hungary, which ended 2-2. Hungary received the gold medal because of the better goal difference, Germany won silver. Schwenn was used in two games.
