Fritz Stolze

Fritz Stolze (born December 20, 1910 - † March 5, 1973 ) was a German water polo player .

Fritz Stolze was goalkeeper of the SV Wasserfreunde in 1898 Hanover , in 1936, 1938 and 1948 he became the proud German champion. With Bernhard Baier , Fritz Gunst and Helmuth Schwenn and Stolze, four players from the Water Friends were part of the German squad at the 1936 Olympic Games . The German team won all games except for the game against Hungary, which ended 2-2. Hungary received the gold medal because of the better goal difference, Germany won silver. Proud was used in a game, the goalkeeper was Paul Klingenburg .
