The Hemimont Plateau (English, Bulgarian плато Хемимонт plato Chemimont ) is a predominantly around 1600 m high and icy plateau in Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It stretches from the Loubet and Fallières coast in the west to the Bowman coast in the east and extends over a length of 100 km between the head ends of the Finsterwalder and Demorest glaciers in the north to the Neny glacier in the south. The up to 1700 m high southern part includes McLeod Hill , Beacon Hill and Armadillo Hill .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2016 after the ancient Roman province of Haemimontus in southeastern Bulgaria .
