The Beacon Hill (English for beacon hill ) is a dome-shaped and ice-covered hill of 1810 m height in Grahamland in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 4 km northeast of McLeod Hill on the watershed between the Northeast Glacier and Bill's Gulch only 120 m above the central ice plateau.
A first survey was carried out by the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941). Presumably there was a beacon of its name on the top of the hill at that time. Between November and December 1940, the United States Antarctic Service maintained a weather station southwest of the hill at 68 ° 7 ′ S , 66 ° 30 ′ W.
