Hendrik Brumme

Hendrik Brumme (* 1959 ) is a German economist . He is a professor at Reutlingen University and has been its president since 2012.

Live and act

Brumme studied industrial engineering at the University of Karlsruhe . From 1988 to 2004 he held various positions at Hewlett-Packard , most recently as Director Operations, where he was responsible for the production of mainframe computers for the European market. In 2004 he was appointed to Reutlingen University, where he taught as a professor at the Faculty of Manufacturing Management and became its dean in 2006. In 2008 he received his doctorate at the Erasmus University Rotterdam . In 2007 he was elected Vice President by the Senate of Reutlingen University, and in 2012 by the Senate and University Council as President of Reutlingen University. He is also a board member of HAW BW eV and thus also of the Rectors' Conference of the Universities of Applied Sciences Baden-Württemberg .
