Hendrik Otremba (* 1984 in Recklinghausen ) is a German musician, author and visual artist.

Life

Otremba is the singer of the Messer group , which was founded in Münster in 2010 . He also works as a freelance author, lecturer in creative writing, visual artist, journalist (for Spex , Spiegel Online , Testcard, among others ) and curator. With the Messer group, Otremba has released numerous albums and recordings, and he also designed the band's covers.

Spiegel online wrote: "The singer and artist Hendrik Otremba from Münster is an expert in turning the feeling of fear and disorientation into art."

Otremba lives and works in Berlin after stints in the Ruhr area and Münster .

In 2017 he published his debut novel Über uns der Schaum .
