Hendrik Schröder

Hendrik Schröder (* 1959 ) is a university professor for business administration at the chair for marketing and trade at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Essen . His main research areas are category management , multi-channel retailing & marketing , consumer goods marketing and trade management.

Life

After studying business administration from 1980 to 1985 at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, he worked as a research assistant at the chair for business administration, especially distribution and trade, of Prof. Dr. Dieter Ahlert , where he received his doctorate in 1988 . There he completed his habilitation in 1995 and taught in Essen , Hagen and Münster .

Hendrik Schröder has held the chair for Marketing & Trade at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Essen campus, since 1996. From 2004 to 2008 he also held the position of dean of the university's economics department.

Furthermore, he has worked as a lecturer and consultant in industrial and trading companies since 1985 , and has also been an auditor at the IHK Münster since 1993 .
