The Henger SV is a sports club from the Upper Palatinate market post-Heng . The club was originally founded as a football club. Today the club has further departments for badminton, cycling, gymnastics / aerobics, judo, bowling, strength fitness, shooting sports, skiing, dancing, table tennis and volleyball as well as a heart group.

Soccer

Since it was founded, the club played with its first men's team almost exclusively in the lower leagues of the Neumarkt soccer district. In 2003 he was promoted to the Central Franconian regional league, and relegation followed a year later.

The greatest sporting success was qualifying for the DFB Cup in 1979 . In the first main round they lost 4-0 to the second division club SC Fortuna Köln .
